Hi our partner is asking the scenario below is possible.

Now WS-5100 V3.x has several VLANs and IP addresses.

VLAN100 WS5100 IP address is 192.168.100.1VLAN110 WS5100 IP address is 192.168.110.1VLAN120 WS5100 IP address is 192.168.120.1#VLAN100 is configured as the management IP.

They are trying to use 802.1x authentication with the external RADIUS server. Now they want to specify the source IP address of RADIUS client. They want to use “192.168.110.1” as RADIUS client for WLAN-AThey want to use “192.168.120.1” as RADIUS client for WLAN-B

My understanding is the below. In the above scenario, WS5100’s source IP address is always the management IP.In addition, we can not select the source IP through the configuration.(“192.168.100.1” is always the source IP as RADIUS client.)Is this correct?

Your clarification would be greatly appreciated.

In your scenario it will always be management interface IP. -Somesh
