All, The Fusion 2.55.1-16R release to support the new MAC address pool says it works with BSP26 or BSP30.  Since the WT4090 never had a BSP26 release, just a BSP20 release, I checked with the Support Center to see if this Fusion build would work with BSP20.  I was told no (see response below).  This means that the 2.55.1-16R will only work with BSP30 on the WT4090. Support Center response:  Per MCD-ECRT, Fusion v2.55.1-16R is not supported on WT4090’s operating on BSP20.  BSP20 is no longer supported, & the respective customer must update their WT4090 devices to BSP30 in order to allow for supported installation of Fusion v2.55.1-16R.  There are no exceptions…

Dave, I'm not asking for support in BSP 20.  The confusion is that the download page for Fusion 2.55.1.0.016R says it is supported by BSP 26 for all of the CE devices, including the WT4090.  Since the WT4090 was never supported by BSP 26, we made the assumption (bad assumption) that the download page meant BSP 20.  The download page needs to be modified to remove the reference to BSP 26 for the WT4090.

Ah -- then the download page got screwed up .  My copy of the download page didn't have BSP 26 listed for WT 4090, but there is a bunch of translation that is done between my word document and the final web version, so it must have been a typo. -Dave

Ken, Fusion 2.55.1.0.016R, and any 2.55 build is not supported on BSP 20, regardless of which device it is.  If a customer needs to continue using BSP 20 but have the MAC address change, you can open a GRIP request or a custom product request.  Essentially, someone on the business side would have to make a decision to add BSP 20 support based on the cost of engineering and testing vs the business impact. Thanks, Dave
