My partner just ordered about 100 MC70's (WM 6.1) with 4 slot Ethernet cradles. They are seeing a lot of the MC70's (30%) have fast blinking charging LED's (Charging Error). At one point they disconnected the power supply of the cradle to drain the batteries and they started the fast blink after re-installing power. Even after warm and cold boot still blinking ast.

Is in a hot environment above 25° ? If so check that your device while charging are turned in standby, otherwise due the fact that the terminal is up and running the inside battery temperature can go above 55° and stop charging. To understand if is your issue take a terminal that has fast blinking put on a aircondition fan and wait 3 - 4 min then put it back on the cradle and see if charging normally. Cheers Alarico
you can also run the emScript resource montior which track the battery temp. The logs may be needed to help diagnose this even if it is not temp related.
Is this happening with single slot cradle? emScript (resource monitor script) provides the logs of battery % remaining, current, volts and temperature...
There is an issue with the four slot cradles. See attached.
The fast blinking indicates that there is a problem charging the battery. This could be due to a problem with the battery or the terminal. Can you isolate the problem to either the battery or the terminal?
