I was informed that it is possible to use a "PigTail" to split an ethernet cable and run two APs off of  a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable with a single port power injector, but my understanding is that is not within IEEE specifications for CAT5e or CAT6.  Could someone please confirm or denie this and if possible provide the IEEE reference.
