All of this should be defaulted to OFF and only desired NAGS turned on via CtlPanel or whatever. With persistent memory of Windows Mobile nobody is interested in the state of the backup battery. WinCloser?  Reg Hack?  Carl ~ Texas

Carl - try: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D663-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\ Change duration to 0 (not sure if Options needs to be changed to but try 9). This is what is set on my MC55 (no backup battery) see also: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=331288

Carl, Rob I have used this on the MC75 to disable the message [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\Battery] "BackupLevels"=dword:00000000
