As was previously detailed in PMB1678, "Change in MAC Address Prefix (OUI) for Mobile Computing Products", we are proceeding with the MAC change.  The following is an update to the expected changeover timeline. MPA1.5 products containing Jedi WLAN radio (MC75xx, MC55xx, VC60xx, and MC17): the EC to cut-in the new MAC range is expected to be released in about two weeks.  Actual manufacturing/service change-over will follow once the supply of existing WLAN radios with the old MAC range are consumed. MPA1.0 CE5 based products containing the Photon WLAN radio (MC9090, MC3090, VC5090, WT4090): the EC's to cut-in the new MAC range across these product families are expected to be released over the month of August.  Actual manufacturing/service change-over will follow once the supply of existing WLAN radios with the old MAC range are consumed.  Note: MC3090 WM6.1 models will follow the same schedule as the MC3090 CE5 models. MPA1.0 WM5 and WM6.1 based products containing the Photon WLAN radio (MC909x, MC70xx): the EC's to cut-in the new MAC range across these product families are expected to be released by the end of September.  Actual manufacturing/service change-over will follow once the supply of existing WLAN radios with the old MAC range are consumed.
