Hello. We've ran into opportunity that potentially involves lots and lots of MK500/MK4000s, but they need to be equipped with Bluetooth and WebCams. Anybody tried connecting BT dongle or a webcam to a kiosk over USB and actually making it work? Is it ever possible (i.e. need BT stack, need some webcam support). So far I have found only this: http://cewebcam.codeplex.com/ and this http://www.ezurio.com/products/highspeedusbadaptor/ (they say they're supported by CE). I think, we need some software components and drivers inside the kiosk as well. What exactly is needed?

Arsen, I have been able to get a webcam to work with a VC5090, I used code from the cewebcam site. The problem is, it takes a LOT of memory to run, and it still crashes if the frame rate speed is set too high. I have not tried it with BT. Let me know if you want the code I used. It seems to work best with the Logitech Pro 9000, you may have to modify to get it to work with something else besides Logitech.
Yes, Patrick, I would love to see the code, I would even love to see the compiled .exe, so I don't have to find and install VS I will go looking for the webcam you mentioned as soon as I get back to test the whole thing. The frame rate would not be the issue since we're doing face capture - not video transmission. Many thanks for your response!!
