At the start of a rollout of DS9808 scanners and discovered issues with the scanners being able to scan products (in aimager mode) further away than the deactivation zone. I have configured the scanners for enhanced presentation mode, but have found that barely reduces the distance. Depending on the size of the barcode there can be an area of up to 8 cm where the product can be scanned and the deactivation is not occurring. ie deactiavtion zone is approx 12cm and with the DS9808 we can scan up to 20cm. What is the standard/normal distance that is expected for deactivation?
