Does anybody have any competitive material on the new 6100 by Honeywell? What I would like to know is how our MC3090 is positioned against this new terminal. Thanks in advance.

Nikos,
The new MC3190 compares well against the Dolphin 6100. The points I would highlight include the following:
1. 3190: CE6 or WM6.1 ( customer can choose which OS is best for their requirements) 6100: CE5 only
2. 3190: 1D Laser or 2D Blockbuster imager (1D laser can be better in high ambient light conditions & has rotating turret for left and right handed operation) 6100: Imager configuration only 3. 3190: 128MB RAM/512MB Flash (more onboard flash memory - can remove requirement for additional SD card) 6100: 128MB RAM/128MB Flash
4. 3190: 320 x 320 pixel display (higher resolution display) 6100: 320 x 240 pixel display
5. 3190: 802.11 a/b/g (802.11a option for noisy RF environments) 6100: 802.11 b/g
6. 3190: 28, 38, 48 key keypad (keypad options to suit application) 6100: 28 key keypad
7. 3190: USB 1.1 host & client (USB host allows connection of peripherals such as keyboard , memory stick) 6100: USB 1.1 client only
8. 3190: Operating temp -20C to +50C ( lower operating temperature for freezer environment) 6100: Operating temp -10C to +50C Internal photos of the 6100 from the FCC approval submission are also attached for reference. Also note that all the above points apart from 1 and 3 also apply to the MC3090 in comparison to the Dolphin 6100.
