today recieved two samples from Russia Took rillogs on OEM 35 and tried with Eterminal com1 230400 baud and modem didnt respond. GSM modules were changed in depot and issue went away. after discussing with Hiro and Oleg of Cinterion decided that modules will be inspected in Berlin interesting observation that these MC75 R4 modules have Cinterion branded pcb's instead of older ones with Siemens branding. issue turned into SPR 18166 because of this. attached is rillog of OEM 35 RIL 1.3.1.19 as well. log is showing this error all the time after inititating GSM power
RilDrv: Abort synchronizing baud rate - Module powered off externally
RilDrv: Error - Unable to set baudrate

RIL Log shows RIL V1.3.1.4 in use.  Can the RIL be updated to the latest and the system retested?

George,   the supplied rillog is from a unit running OEM 27 and RIL 1.3.1.4.  i had already asked to load OEM 35 and Pepsi also loaded OEM 35 on the units with RIL 1.3.1.19 but still GSM power is not able to be turned on. the error thrown in the rillog is similar to SPR 17432  that is why i asked to have Cinterion's opinion. ( SPR 17432 modules had corruption of firmware after 2 years in the field ) In this case devices are just a couple of weeks in the field.
