How to keep Start Menu's Recent Programs list clean

I have a customer using AppCenter on an MC75, but they need to display the Start Menu when running one of their applications. If they don’t, the GUI interface is messed up. I’ve managed to clean up the Start Menu to remove most everything. However, I can’t keep the Recent Programs list cleaned. Applications that run during device start up (i.e. SymScriptWM, KeyIcons, PlatUtils, poutlook, etc.) appear in the Recent Programs list. Any idea how to keep the list clean up or suppress the Recent Programs list all together?

I did some research and found that deleting all of the REG entries under [HKEY_CURRENT_USER]\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TaskSwitch and then immediately doing a warm boot clears the list until the next warm boot occurs. However, this doesn’t seem feasible since I would need to do this before each warm boot occurs. If the user initiates the warm boot by pressing the power button, I won’t be able to delete the REG keys first. Thanks, Ken
