I have just recieved 2 RFS-6000 and would like to set them up. During the boot up, I found the following message from the console. It seemed that there is no valid RFS firmware. Am my guest correct ? Do anyone know how to upload the firmware to the switch in this situation ? Regards Antony Console message during the device boot up: ================================

Hi Michael Many thanks. Do you know where can I found the .dd files. I tried the procedure with standard firmware (*.img) from support.symbol.com, however, I failed. Regards Antony
1. Download RFS6000-INSTALL-3.1.0.0-024R.dd and copy to the root directory of a TFTP server
2. At the boot prompt type "diag 1GbpsCCMP" and press enter
3. Type "show net" and verify switch has an IP address valid on the same network as the TFTP server. If it does not, use the "net" commands to configure the IP configuration
4. Type "prog xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx RFS6000-INSTALL-3.1.0.0-024R.dd" where xxx is the IP address of the TFTP server
I don't have the image but here are the instructions.
