As stated in the Requirements section of the Installation Guide, MSP 3.3.0 supports installations on Windows Server 2008 with SP1 or higher. However, if you are planning an install on Server 2008, you should check to make sure that you do NOT have the Debug Service Pack 2 for 2008. You will not be able to install MSP with this. Server 2008 Service Pack 2 IS supported, but it cannot be the Debug version. You can check the system properties to verify your current SP version. Please see the attached screen capture of a system that has Debug SP2 installed.
