Hi, Is it possible to upgrade the OS on a MC9090 CE terminal to WM6.1? Are there issues with licensing? Regards, Andy Robinson

Hi Andy, to a certain extend it is licensing related as cost vary between the 2 types, but the real issue is hardware. Typically hardware of embedded CE-based devices does not adhere to Microsoft's Windows Mobile specification. Loading of WM OS builds on embedded CE devices will violate logo agreements between Microsoft and manufacturers.
