I have a partner who developed an inventory application for the MC1000. The application is written in .Net, is SOAP based, and updates a SQL Lite database on the device. The communication method is mainly dial up, and some Ethernet cradle. One XML DOM document is failing to either transmit or load to the device. The web service call is https, so we can’t really see how much data is missing or not (device and host traces are similar in size, but not an exact match). The "big windows" programmers at the customer site mentioned there are many SOAP proxy monitors available for big windows that allow the traffic to be monitored. Has anyone developed or know of SOAP monitor we could run on a CE5 MC1000 to monitor the progress of this particular transaction? This link references One of the proxy utilities the java developers are using to debug SOAP messages on the server side is TCPMon.
