Can anybody explained why this is happening.. & what can be done to prevent connectivity interruption? When the MC75 is connected via Wi-Fi, it can successfully open the URL via Internet Explorer If we then keep Internet Explorer open and dock the device in a 4 slot cradle (Ethernet) that DOESN"T have a network cable attached ( used for charge only) , we can still successfully connect to the URL If we then terminate Internet Explorer (via task manager so that the iexplore.exe process is closed), then re-open Internet Explorer, we can no longer connect to the URL (we receive a timeout error) when the device is in the cradle. If we then undock the device, it successfully connects again.

This is expected behaviour for Windows Mobile terminals. PIE internally calls Connection Manager to setup network connectivity when using a url. Other applications need to make calls to functions within Connection Manager to achieve network connectivity. See http://www.codeproject.com/KB/mobile/ConnectionManager.aspx for a non Microsoft example of how this all works.
