Has anybody come across an issue where the VC5090 ESN as reported by MSP v3.3 is different than the one actually printed on the back of the device? Thanks in advance.

Nikos, I ran into a problem where some VC5090 units had no ESN programmed, but not a wrong one. It appears there was some issue on the manufacturing line where the ESN's were not getting set properly. The units in question were manufactured in April 2009. We had to ship our units into the service depot so the ESN could get programmed. Ken
I had SPR #15890 on MSP v3.2 generating errors from VC5090's which were uploading there discovery xml file containing invalid characters within the serial number field. MSPA v5.74 was released including a fix to ignore the invalid characters.
