Hi, Im working on an issue around MC55 (non) connectivity to a Siebel host. One of the Oracle engineers thinks it may be be due to the fact that Motorola devices use Double Byte Unicode. HTC devices which can connect to the Siebel server use ASCII.

§         MC55 is double byte Unicode, extremely difficult to read in TextPad

§         HTC is normal ASCI, with some non standard characters displayed as '?'

§         When the MC55 sends wrong encoded messages to MQe server, there will be a problem

Is there any way to change the 55 to use ASCII ? Thanks Andy
