Yes. ADF can be used for OCR. ADF is independent to barcode/OCR decoding. It is a means of customizing data before transmission to the host devise. The following is an example of setup a rule to adding a tab between a 10 character OCR string. Step1. Begin New Rule Step2. Send next 5 characters Step3. Send Tab Key Step4. Send All Data That Remains Step5. Save Rule So, the data 123456789X will be transmitted out as 12345 6789X Thanks, Michelle
