Now that 5.1 has been released for the RFS6000, has anyone upgraded their customer to it? Was the config file from 4.X converted to the 5.1 format? if so, how was that done and how painful is it?

Unfortunately, when upgrading customers from WiNG v4.x to WiNG v5.1, configurations are not retained or converted. This has been detailed in the WiNG v5.1 release notes. If upgrading existing customers to WiNG v5.1, the configuration will need to be rebuilt and applied. Please also note the change in the default parameters in WiNG v5.1 ( documented in the release notes), as that is what the system will revert to, upon upgrade from WiNG v4.x. With WiNG v5.2 release in August, a configuration migration utility will be made available, to enable conversion of WiNG v4.x configurations to WiNG v5.x configurations.
