Hi all, We are not able to make a BT headset work on MC55A0 using the Microsoft stack (tested 4 different headsets). We can always pair but we see no services offered. We know from the past that some non-GSM terminals didn't include the headset profile on the OS and we had some reghack to enable it if needed. Actually, the customer is able to pair it using Stonestreet but they cannot use that stack for different reasons, so we believe that the headset profile is present. A look at the registry and MSDN didn't help much either. Any clue on how to make it work? Thanks a lot!

Thank you Dave and Luba
Dave, The customer needs headset profile to use a TTS application on a warehouse.
Hello, Microsoft BT stack doesn't support Headset profile for non-GSM edition. I am not aware about any change that can support this feature. Can you be more detail regarding reghack?
Even if there is a registry key to change the setup, it wouldn't have been tested on the MC55A0 since we don't have it included by default. I think it would be safer to switch to the SS1 stack and find out why this customer has a problem using that stack. Maybe that would be a better soluition (since at least headset profile would have been tested. Dave
Which profile does the customer want to use? Headset profile? Handsfree profile would not be included since there is no phone. Dave
Also, what is this customer's use case? What are they trying to use the headset for?
