1) 14:15/06-07-2009 2) 3 day 3) MC9596 4) M6.x 5) 2390919 Customer is expereincing slow perfromance in their application (which uses WAN to connect) on MC9596 due to very high CPU usage. I have attached eMscripts logs, which seem to point to connmgr.exe as cause of high CPU usage.
There was a previous issue with same symptoms reported on MC9596. Randomly, connmgr.exe was taking away 90-98% of CPU. Rebooting also resolved issue temporarily.
Stress testing was performed on the MC9596 with connection manager and the problem could not be reproduced.
It was determined that the customers application was going into a dialing loop, which caused the connmgr.exe overload. The new customer (Air Canada and their ISV) needs specific evidence we can provide to prove the issue is application based. Can someone please review these logs and asist with pointing out something we can bring to them. Thanks.
