Has anyone set a AP6511 as a trunk port config. Once we set this you get kicked out of the AP.

Chuck Make sure that the native vlan is not tagged. If it is tagged on the AP and not on the ethernet switch you will lose connectivity or vice versa. one other thing is to make sure you are in the device context. so when you are in the ap make sure type "self" and then go to the interface from here and configure. should be something like this ap6511>en ap6511#self ap6511(config-device-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx)#int ge1 ap6511(config-device-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-if-ge1)# switchport mode trunk ap6511(config-device-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-if-ge1)# switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,10-15 ap6511(config-device-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-if-ge1)# switchport trunk native 1
