"For our encrypted voice application on the ES400, we need to support incoming GSM 9.6kbps circuit-switched data (CSD) calls. The ES400 supports CSD just like other Windows Mobile 6.x phones do, and *outgoing* CSD calls (V.110 or V.32) work without problems. That said, the current version of RIL on the ES400 does not seem to properly signal *incoming* CSD calls. The 'terminal' is a tool that listens for incoming calls on a TAPI line, and also a tool that monitors the wince-baseband ipc buffer. We expect to get a tapi LINE_APPNEWCALL message (or when looking at RIL, a RIL_NOTIFY_RING notification). Note that outgoing CSD calls do work. Also note that in the RPC channel's buffer we do see the phonenumber of the calling party, so there is some signal from the baseband to the application CPU concerning an incoming call in the RPC channel, but this seems to be ignored by both RIL and TAPI. With the same SIM card, making and receiving CSD calls works correctly when using other phone models (Motorola, HTC, Nokia etc.) Can you please check with your colleagues how this can be fixed?" We have advice to test in 2G only as most operators don't allow CSD over 3G but still no luck. They also included the source code attached. Any guidance on this is much appreciated. Best regards
