Avalanche to MSP Migration Guide?

Hi all... I have a customer about to migrate from Avalanche to MSP - do we have a guide or best practice document that I can share with them to make life a little easier? The alternative option is to recommend an OSUpdate to start things off (which is necessary for the customer at some point) and then introduce MSP cold... but if we have an elegant way of cutting devices over and killing the Avalanche enabler, that would be really handy. My current thinking is to use some jiggery-pokery to disable Avalanche Angent check-in and remove it from the auto-start... is there a better way? Many thanks! -JP

The cleanest way I have experienced is to Blank it out and then build it on MSP. We tried this at Nestle USA with some VC5090's and MC9090-G's and it was a few extra steps to achieve the same thing. You can also take advantage of this work to get the devices on the latest OS as well.
