All, I was visiting a partner this afternoon and they showed me the Opticon OPN2002, which looks just like our CS3070. They had it paired to an iPad. Opticon has a configuration barcode that puts it into "iPad compatibility" mode to allow the iPad virtual keyboard to work with the scanner. When you press the button on the OPN2002, the iPad keyboard is displayed and you press the button again to hide the keyboard and restart the scanner. I thought it would work the same way as the CS3070 where pressing the blue BT button on the scanner disconnects the BT connection to re-enable the virtual keyboard. However, when I looked at the BT connections on the iPad, it still showed that the OPN2002 was connected. Does the CS3070 still show that it is connected to the iPad when you press the blue BT button on the scanner to disconnect? Just wondering if the Opticon unit may be doing something different that the CS3070 to re-enable the iPad keyboard. Thanks, Ken
