Customer is asking for documentation or statement on built-in encryption level used in Staging Barcode. I am not looking for the built-in passphase just the algorythm. e.g. AES I have combed all the documentation going back to MSP 3.0 and cannot find this detail.

Encryption of the data stored in Staging Profile Barcode Sheets is done using the (single) DES encryption algorithm. The encryption key used for the DES encryption is derived from the password that is either built-in (known by both the MSP Server and the RD Client) or entered by the MSP User when the barcodes are generated and then entered again by the Device User when the barcodes are scanned.
