does anyone have a document on how to implement option 191 for auto installing AP6532s on a Windows DHCP server, that they could share? attached is simple screen-by-screen guide to implement option 189 using Windows DHCP server, from way back. I am looking for a similar guide to implement option 191 on a Windows DHCP server. thanks, afshin

Afshin, Please see the attached example which I put together for a guide I am working on for NOC deployments. This section will show you how to setup a vendor class and option 191 for various DHCP servers (including Microsoft). As the NOC model uses Level 2 MINT links, you will need to change the string so that the Access Points adopt using Level 1 links. Simply remove the ' ;level=2' statement from option 191 value or change it to ' ;level=1'and you will be good to go. Below are some example strings which can be used for most deployments: pool1=, pool1=,;level=1 pool1=, Regards, Kevin
