You can't control the Home button, but you can replace the Home Screen in general with your application and get rid of the original APK, which pretty much solved the problem :)
Is it even possible? I recall reading somewhere that we don't have control of the "home" button in Android: it will always return you to the OS homescreen, so we'd need to "break" Android to make this work. Of course I could be very very wrong but this is definitely something we are going to need going forward.
Not Appcenter, but we have a utility called Applock that also integrates with our Multi-user login value add tools for Android. Applock works kinda appcenter with applicaiton white list and we can do it by user as well.
