Hi all
do you know which APIs customer has to use to write an application which allows them to read contact smart cards via the DCR? (debit cards with ICC) Do they only have to use Microsoft APIs?

I would say yes, but EMDK is very vague with this topic.

EMDKs do not support reading the smart card using DCR7000-200. But they do support reading the debit card and collecting PIN using DCR.
For reading the smart card using MC75A/DRC7000, you can use the Biometric APIs available at http://support.symbol.com/support/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=k… 0 253182891 But it appears that Biometric APIs do not support MC75A in particular. You may want to check that with the support team.
