Charles, I can see the difficulty you experienced in getting the answer to your question and I'll try to address that going forward.  One of the difficulties relates to Support Central and how difficult it is to use that site for interim releases.  Again, we'll try to address this. Even with the latest Motorola Remote Control manual, your question is not adequately answered.  Earlier this year we expanded the support for the MSP client to include most versions of the Windows operating systems (7, server, etc).  The complete list can be found in the Client Software Guide.  Remote Control and associated modules are supported for that same list of operating systems.  You will also note that there are two sets of Add-on zip files for the RC modules, one for WM and CE and one for desktop Windows. The consumer Android operating system does not provide the ability for a remote control function so MotorolaRC cannot support it.
