customer stating he needs to know what protocol is being used when trying to connect to a shared network folder on a server wirelessly from a MC9090.
customer is using wpa encryption on the wirelessly
was working then stopped ...
customer believes something on the server end changed and is blocking the protocol; preventing the connection.
I verified customer setup path through file explorer > menu > path > new path I verified customer is able to connect to his network Please advise what protocol is being called during this process customer is asking if it is netbios or something of that nature. any assistance is greatly appreciated.

If you are using a computer name, the first thing would be a lookup via netbios. I don't know the details of how it works after that, but the customer could use netlog to capture a trace of what is happening and then look at the trace to see what fails.
