My customer needs assistance provisioning a Modem Connection on their MC95’s with a snap on modem. Is there documentation available that outlines the settings and/or XML code that would accomplish this. From the customer-"I got it working to a point.  I can import a .reg file and also a .cab file if the device is already built and it will work just fine. But when I include the files in the build process, the username and password for the connection is not there.  All the other information such as the connection name and phone number entered properly, but just not the username and password.  It seems like there needs to be a registry entry to "save" the password once it is entered initially but I don't see that in the menu or in the registry. Can you point me in the right direction in getting this working?  Maybe you guys have another process or use a .xml file to perform these tasks."

Thanks Allan. We dug in at MSDN and got the correct XML files created. Not a lot of experience out there with dial-up RAS:)

Tim; Congratualtions on getting it to work.  You should share what you learned by posting the form of XML you found to do this.  That way anyone else that needs to do something similar won't need to work as hard as you did. Thanks, Allan

Tim; Sorry, the MSP team has nothing useful to offer you on this.  You would need to work with the help desk and/or the device teams to find out what the options for configuring this are and what, if any, the limitations of those options are.  Once you have that information, if you need help with deploying the resulting configuration via MSP, we may be able to assist.
