Customer has deployed MC70's with Vehicle cradles with RS-232 connection to truck installed Cadec solution. They are looking to deploy MC65's and from what I can tell, it doesn't support RS-232 and our cradle doesn't have a serial port. Any suggestions? Possibly USB - Serial converter?

I believe the following cable may be of help 25-136283-01R This is RS232 cable for MC55 (same story - no native RS232) and it's based on FTDI chip. As far as know the latest A1 OS for MC65/ES400 has the FDTI driver inside so looks like it should work on MC65 as well.
Brian, You could also look at a third party MC65 vehicle cradle which supports RS232 such as the one from Infocradle http://www.handsfree.co.uk/vehicle-mounting-solutions-infocradle-c-9_64… Best Regards, Ian Hatton
