I have a customer with a few hundred MC9090G CE5.0 guns deployed and they want to move to the MC9190 for the LRI but they cannot get the scan beep volume loud enough to satisfy their needs. Are there any tips or tricks to increase the beep volume on the 9190? I've tried all combinations of frequency and duration in both Wavelink and DataWedge but it is still considerably quieter than the 9090. I had the same problem with a customer moving from MC70s to 75As so I suspect that this is something that changed with the platform.

Bob, You can try using the WaveFile option(BasicConfiguration -> BarcodeInput -> 1D ScannerDriver -> Feedback -> Good Decode -> WaveFile) in DW. Also note to keep the speaker volume to max when using this option. This is the max volume you can get out of the device as you are playing wav file at max volume. Hope this solves your problem.
