Please note the Engineering Customer Support Group (ECSG) has been renamed to the Strategic Engineering Support (SES) team. The decision to rename was based mainly to better reflect how the teams efforts are used by sales and marketing. This new name should also help to delineate the value added strategic focus on new business the team provides above and beyond our other engineering level support offerings within ECRT and MCD as a whole.
With the transition to the new name, we will be updating our compass site as well as making improvements where needed. The renamed site is now called http://compass.mot-solutions.com/go/ses-home.
For those not familiar with the team please visit the site and take a look at some of the posted tools, documents and presentations. Please keep in mind although ECSG/SES team is open to all MCD opportunities, we must use the engagement process to ensure we are focusing our efforts appropriately. The engagement site along with the tie into the standard support process allows us to effectively scale the team efforts.
Although the team charter has not changed, it is also worth noting that the team is in the process of undertaking the support efforts for Rho and will be leading the transition efforts into the rest of ECRT as the product matures and grows. With that we are actively looking for resources that can help with that effort. If you should have any leads, or would like to more, don’t hesitate to contact me.
