Hello... Any suggestions for compression software? One of my customers was inquiring about various compression software and which one is best by means of the most compression to get the smallest file size. They are currently using GZIP. Thanks... Jesse

I just love 7zip. Here you can get WM version and here its source files should you want to integrate it on your application.
Well 7z is by far and away the smallest but it also takes the longest time to run. Good old zip is a not a bad trade off, not the smallest but one of the fastest. See comparisons on the web at e.g. http://brej.org/compression/conclusion.html. Inside an application the gzip classes are a free part of Compact Framework. Richard
