Team, We have a customer using our MC65 on a Cisco infrastructure and they are unable to transmit even when the terminal says that it is connected to the AP. The PING option in the Diagnostic item of Fusion menu always lose the packets. The Fusion logs state that the device is connected. Device is on 2.30.12 firmaware level, with Fusion patch installed. The network configuration is using static IP, and the model & firmware version of the Cisco AP are Aironet 1240AG, v12.4(21a)JA1. Edit: The device connects perfectly using Windows Wireless Configuration. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Regards, Alex.

Hi Alex, I would recommend that you test your laptop on the customer's network as well.  You might also want to test a MC9090 or MC9190 as well just to see if you get the same response.  If so then confirm you have the right Gateway or Subnet mask if you statically assigned an IP.  I'd recommend you setup DHCP instead just to see if you connect to their DHCP Servers. If you see that any of the other devices you test behave the same way then it rules out our MC65.  However, you may want to pull down any latest fusion update or hotfix to see if that addresses the issue on the MC65.  You should probably start of fresh Clean Boot and Blank it then update the Fusion.  Last option would be to take a wireless sniffer or netlog tool on the mobile device side and provide support your trace files and log files. Cheers, Mark Mann
