this more sounds that the SD card driver is unloaded during suspend/resume cycle ( default behavior ) if you want sd card driver loaded all the time check following:

Additionally following regkey can be change to 1 if required

Our intern found one site that suggests actually putting a picture or video on the SD card saying that will prevent it (not sure that is really true, but it could be worth a try). Other sites suggest just pressing Yes once, letting WMP search and it won't pop up again. Dave
According to this link: http://forums.thoughtsmedia.com/f408/disable-storage-card-inserted-prom… This is a "feature" of WMP. Is there a way to disable this as a setting, rather than requiring WMP be closed?
