JRE for MC9090 WM

Team, What kind of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) we recommend for WM6.1 in order to run *.jar files on our MC9090? Or shall I recommend to customer to develop their Java appl. with our EMDk for Java? Thanks Roland

Take a look at the release notes for the Java EMDK.  It discusses the 2 options for JVMs that you could use.  Unless that are already using IBM J9, nsicom Creme is usually the choice.  Also note that the release notes say that creme is the only one supported for some devices. If they don't need to use our device specific functions (scanning, etc), they don't necessarily need to use the EMDK, but I would have them refer to the release notes and maybe the help file to help in these kinds of questions.
