Hello, We are testing ET1 in automotive sector where citirx client will be running on device. For this Customer want to change the Device ID on ET1 and mention their envornment specific device ID to work. I am not able to find out where I can chnage it. The onlu option is Bluetooth device ID but doesnt help. Is there any information to change the device ID on ET1 like in WM OS we can easily do that fro system settings properties tab. Customer is not doing POC on Panasonic Toughbook with Windows version. Sanjay Nare

Sanjay, I have a customer with the same issue. I believe you need root access in order to chage the name. Unfortunately we do not allow root access on the ET1. Dan
I could be wrong but I believe Android builds it's own unique name, if you look at your DHCP entry for the device you'll see a unique name but it's currently not configurable or readable from the ET1.
