We do not now support Visual Studio 2003 for which CF1.0 was the major development target. This was all superceded some 7 years ago and CF1.0 is now effectively not supported by either Microsoft or Motorola for deployment onto our terminals. It does not work and is not supported with any of our current EMDKs for instance.
Keep in mind that you will also need to use the old libraries, SMDK, you may find in support.symbol.com, searching "Installation Requirements for Visual Studio.NET 2003:" under "Software downloads". This lists all SMDK versions for VS 2003, the one which used to run CF1.0. I am too young to have used these tools... sorry.
