Hello, What is the trick in getting an actual model number of an MC75?  Like MC75 96 or MC75 98 or MC75 A8? Should I be using Symbol.ResourceCoordination?  Is there another trick or method?  There is nothing jumping out like 'Hey This Is My Real Model Number'. I'm using EMDK 2.5 and VB.NET(2008) Thanks Brad

Unfortunately, you are right.  The OEM name or any other mechanism does not provide the full model number.  You will have to figure out if a technology/feature is available on the device and then come to a conclusion.

Obtaining the model number of a device is illustrated in the sample CS_SysInfoSample1 distributed with EMDK for .NET. Prashanth

Prashanth, I've ran that sample it only returns the platform, ie; MOTOROLA MC75.  This example happens to be running on an MC7596, which is what I need.  96, 98, A8 etc.  All our devices are under the platform MC75 so to us thats a given. Brad
