I am looking for an automated method to have a MC9x90 device that associated to a WLAN generate a "Certificate Request" to a Certificate Authority to have a certificate generated and installed on the device. We can manually accomplish this task using the Fusion Manage Certificates section / and or the Fusion Manage Profiles section. We want to automate this process and generate and install certificates when needed. The customer DOES NOT want to pre-generate client certificates and just distribute them to the devices. We have MSP 3.3.3 and can get the customers Root CA cert onto the device to enable trusted operation. The ultimate goal is implementation of EAP-TLS WLAN authentication. It was suggested that possibly XML could be used to do this (may be install a MSP package that executes XML code to do the CSR request/cert installation?). Has anyone done this ... any ideas or suggestions or recommendations of whom I should talk to? Thanks in advance for any response!

Jack You could probably bake something up with MSP4, leveraging SCEP as an external source, and Dynamic data. This is one of the powerful features added to solve issues like you've described. Z
Guys, Don't forget MSP4 is only limited to a selected few Accounts and requires the BU buyin inorder to sell to the customer and not to mention will be looking to EOS. Maybe the BU can confirm if Soti already has this functionality. Cheers, Mark
