5) Clarify Case # 2746365 APAC Tech Support customer is looking for more information about the Reg Keys ALCControl and ALCNoiseGateControl. They're developing voice recognition software, and apparently microphone volume level is regulated already by the OS, and they believe these reg keys may be involved. A) They want to know how to turn off microphone volume adjustment. B) They wish to know more about these reg keys, and how they can be manipulated for their benefit.

Is there information on this?
I am still looking for that, They should use those Audio APIs
AUDIOEX_GetRegistryContext(wchar_t *regKeyName, int numBytes); AUDIOEX_SetRegistryContext(wchar_t *regKeyName); The reg key is MICVolume It located with all other Audio registries, [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\builtin\WaveDev....] I am verifying if the user can change its value.
Still looking to get information on this topic, if it exists
