Hi, One customer has a three RFS 6000 configured with redundancy enabled. This is a WiNG4 config. 2 RFS are in primary and one in standby mode. One Primary RFS and one Standby RFS is at NOC and second primary is over a WAN link at one of the warehouse to adopt local AP at that warehouse. what is happening is some AP5131 are getting adopted on standby RFS even if the primary RFS is not going down. How come with Primary RFS at NOC being still reachable standby RFS adopts some AP. Actually i feel it is doing AP load balancing.AP5131 has RFS IP addresses configured in order of preference to which they need to get adopted to.

Please check the cluster connectivity status on each device and ensure that all members are showing as connected. From the symptoms you have described it sounds like the cluster is in a broken state and the standby device is operating in an active state. Regards, Kevin
Hi, Probably the communication between the RFS over WAN link isn't happening.
