We have a report from a client running a pockebrowser application on MC17 devices. We have recent reports of devices displaying an error that is generated when a javascript function tries to write to the registry using generic.SetRegistrySetting. The error thrown to the window.onerror function is: "Can't write setting " The application has been running on hundreds of devices for over a year and the registry entry may be updated several times a day on some devices, so it has been written sucessfully many times. Is there a limit on registry writes? or a possibility of a fragmentation problem? In an instance of a write failure like this would a cold-boot to clear the registry be expected to resolve the issue?

Please let me know if registry keys could be written outside the scope of PB on those units throwing errors?
