Below is the link to another tool that I've created, A parser for VSM syslog information. We have been able to use this for drive testing in Harris County. Currently, the only out put is for "drive testing", but I'll be adding additional switches for things like neighboor cells, connected / disconencted / handover information, etc. The target output is currently for a Google Fusion table which can handle all of the points better that Maps / KML which starts to struggle after about 100. The current output is for GPS / LTE statictics coincidence which occurs every 10 seconds ... the LTE Stats are recorded every second and could be interpolated to GPS locations if we want ...   If you have suggestions for a syslog reciever for the PC, please contribute them ...
