Details: *Windows 7 desktop/laptop *Belkin F8T016 BT dongle *RS507 Trying to prepare RS507 to desktop eval solution. Trying to determine RS507 firmware version and to upgrade if necessary. I'm unable to pair with RS507 in SCAN or SPP mode. I had success with this in Windows XP, but unable to pair in Windows 7. I could be missing something simple. Try disabling BT Authentication. I've attached the doc that I use to upgrade the units via a Win 7 laptop.
Thanks Don. Wow, this is different than the procedure that I was familiar with. This worked with one of my RS507s. But I wasn't prompted to "Create a pairing code for me". My other RS507 shows: "Adding this device to this computer failed" "Adding this device failed because of an authentication error"
