This is just a general question and see if this feasible.  This is an offshoot on my recent post http://devcentral.motorola.com/view/31590/view.aspx Is it  possible for ECRT to create a tool/utility that displays 3 options when the Pwr Btn is pressed.  Suspend, Safe Battery Swap (force shutdown of all apps), Cancel. The MC557x and MC559x does not come with a backup battery.  We have seen that file corruption/lockup occur on these devices when proper battery removal is not followed. While we say that this is a customer issue and they should make sure that no app is running prior to battery removal, it would be beneficial if we can create a tool/utility that when a customer presses the Pwr btn, 3 options should come up, like Suspend and Force shutdown (similar to what a Battery swap does on some of our current devices) and Cancel.  Can we do this on MC557x/MC559x devices running WM6.5?
